Alaska Pacific University U.S. Geological Survey Office Building

Alaska Pacific University called upon ECI/Hyer to provide architectural design and tenant improvements for the new U.S. Geological Survey offices and laboratories on their campus. The documents for the 27,000 SF facility were completed in only three months in anticipation of fast-track construction. The facility, named in memory of former APU president Glenn Olds, includes public services, administrative and lab support offices, pre and post-PCR labs, a common lab shared by geologists and biologists, and a necropsy room. ECI/Hyer's portion of the design/build project included development of the design and construction documents through construction administration.
