Brian Meissner, AIA, LEED AP

Brian is a reformed Canadian and a dedicated father. When not astounding people with his karaoke skills, you will find Brian on a boat of any size. A self-proclaimed "nerd," Brian believes in keeping ahead of the technological curve. Brian's contagious architectural passion lies in community buildings and the people that work within these buildings. His natural design sense and creative leadership skills support his ability to lead design and planning workshops.

Brian holds a Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Nevada-Reno. Brian was a founding member of the Alaska Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Now he frequently gives presentations to various organizations—both private and non-profit—on LEED and sustainable design strategies. Brian's award-winning portfolio includes the LEED-Silver Certified Homer Public Library, the Saint Paul Health and Community Center, and the University of Alaska Anchorage's Integrated Science Building.
