Mary Knopf, ASID, LEED AP BD+C

Mary is a designer, a knitter, a contract bridge player, an amateur golfer, a baker, an avid volunteer, a networker, and a loving spouse… and that's in just one day! Mary is extremely hard-working and excels at the term "multi-task." Mary's natural mentoring quality lends itself to tap into other people's talents, therefore encouraging those around her to express themselves in their work.

Mary received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, cum laude, from Washington State University. Mary is actively involved in the design and construction community, having served on many boards and committees both regionally and nationally. She is an advocate of volunteerism and mentorship programs and

believes they are meaningful ways to give back to the community as well as share her love for life. She is the head of ECI/Hyer's interior design team and has led the interior design efforts of numerous award-winning projects, including South Anchorage High School and the LEED-Silver Certified Homer Public Library. She recently finished the local interior design efforts of the University of Alaska Anchorage's 120,000 square foot Integrated Science Building.
